Our Teachers

We have three wonderful teachers that love
teaching your children!!

Evan Logan is originally from Greensboro, NC, and is happy to call this home.  She is a mom to two young children, Lila (6) and Amelia (4). Evan feels that being a mom of young children has helped her to become a more well rounded music teacher.  She can identify with each parent, andis able to set a comfortable and fun environment for everyone.
Evan began her musical journey in the fourth grade when she learned to play the violin with her school orchestra. She then continued on with piano and dance lessons.  She eventually wound up at  Radford University, where she received a degree in Music Therapy.  Whether it was orchestra, piano lessons, or dance classes , her love of music and movement have been a constant through out her whole life.  It only seemed right to instill a journey of music and movement with her children too.  Evan discovered the Musikgarten curriculum shortly after Lila was born, and has been teaching ever since.  There are not many times in your life when you know without a doubt that you are in the right place, but Evan feels she has found the perfect fit for her.

Jaye Pierce has been singing and loving music for as long as she can remember.

She can be seen around the Triad in various theatre productions and with her Irish band, Banna.  She also performs for veterans and the elderly all over the state.

Jaye is a social worker by trade but has spent the last 8 years at home with her young daughters, Sharon and Ella. She is so excited to share her love of music with your children!

Linda Shillito is native to Florida but has been living in the piedmont for the majority of her life. She moved to Greensboro after graduating with a degree in education from NCSU in 2008. She has always loved to preform, and can often be found on community theater stages around the triad, sometimes even alongside Ms. Jaye!

Linda has been working with music in some form her whole life. Starting with family concerts at home and ranging from school band to musical theatre. She has been attending Musik Garten classes with her children since her now 5 year old, Nathan, was 6 months old! She has been interested in teaching the curriculum since then, and is excited to have the opportunity now that her daughter, Eleanor, is 3. Music has had a great impact on her life and she looks forward to sharing the gift with others.
